Are u kidding??? we cant even watch 1 netflix movie and No Data left.... And thats Just for Starters....  It Is THE SLOWEST Internet, Ive EVER HAD!!!!! When I signed up they told me A Whole Nother Story!!   this Gbs Crap is for the Turtles!!

I agree Angela, I had to bump up my plan, and paying $80.00 is the discount for 6 months! That is two and a half times more than I paid for Century Link when I lived in town. We live somewhat in the country now, only a few miles from Century Link coverage, alas. We feel Exceed and Hughs Net have a monopoly on the internet coverage areas where people cannot get any other internet. Therefore the inflated prices. After 6 months I will be paying over a hundred bucks a month for Exceed!
I am sickened by these prices!

Satellite internet has data caps do to the limit of the satellite it's self.  The satellite only has so much throughput and in order to share that with 650K other customers they have to have the data caps to keep the satellite from getting over loaded and everyone going back to dial up speeds.  As far as Netflix if you are wanting to watch a bunch of it I would look in to Nightshift or playon/ playlater.  They allow you to download the movies to your computer during the late night free zone and not use your data.  As far as slow speeds if you are having issues with your speed and are not over your data cap then send exedelistens@viasat.com and they will look in to why you are not getting the speeds you should.

I agree with everything that you have said. If I remember correctly Exede launched a new satellite that should be in service by summer 2016. This should ease congestion on the network, and allow for more data per month to be added to the plans, and allow the extension of the freedom plan for more areas across the country.

I'm sorry that's the case, sadly like Kaotic Technologies has said, the installers are paid off commission so they stretch the truth to get the sale.  There are some beams that do have a 150GB plan that Exede advertises as virtually unlimited, but that is in very few areas. We would be happy to try to help you with any issues you have, aside from things out of our control like what plan you have available to you.

Installers don't work for commission. They almost always are working for a flat fee per job. Only sales people and dealers get paid commission.

Sorry Jim, that's what I ment were the sales people not you installers. Though not all of them fully disclose everything either I'm sure. Part of the problem too is people don't do research before signing on the dotted line. Anyways that's neither here nor thete , she's not happy with her service and I'm happy to help how I can, as is everyone else.
