I have friends using Wildblue. Whenever they send me messages, they come through fine on my Windows machines with Outlook, and they come through fine on my web email access. But when I try to open messages from either my or my wife's Galaxy III android mail, they come through blank.

Does the android block HTML, images etc...? Are the senders white listed on the phone? Is there any data usage management software on the phone or, anti malware apps that might block content or, block downloads over a certain size? Are the phones configured properly for WildBlue Email?

Double check that here: http://help.exede.net/articles/General/Setting-up-your-email-on-your-Android-device

the android isn't blocking anything from any other source except xxxx@wildblue.net.  Everything else is coming in fine.  Sometimes the android mail app displays a "click here for more content" button, but it always works.  not data management, not malware, not message size.  I got a reply from Bev, not help.  Via personal email, I can send the email source and destination addresses, but I'd prefer not to post them to an open forum.  Maybe somebody at Exede/Wildblue might want to send me some email messages. By the way, the email message informing me of Bev's post came to my android email app just fine.  It's just stuff from xxxx@wildblue.net that fails.

Hi David, Wildblue.net works on Android devices. You may want to check the settings and make sure this email address is not being blocked.  Please check to see if Block Sender or Block Domain is not a selected feature for Wildblue.net.   Please send your account and contact information to exedelistens@viasat.com and we will investigate this further. Thanks, Exede Diana

Moved discussion to exedelistens@viasat.com  for now.  There is a problem, and it's not an easy-to-find one like blocked sender.  There is something odd about the format of email messages from wildblue.net that doesn't work with android email app. I've sent Diana several android and windows screenshots, and am willing to help her track this bug.  I'm a pretty experienced computer user (I teach college-level programming and have decades of tech experience).
