I just got my internet set up. I was charged the set up fee $149.99 which I obviously expected. But I was told that I would be paying $70 a month and was just charged $91.30. Explanation please?

I just was setup also and got immediately billed.  I suspect the bill ahead like cable companies like COX.

Hello John,

When your service is installed, you are billed for a prorated amount and a month in advance. Every month, we will send a billing notification to the contact email address you gave us when ordering the service. You will not receive a paper statement. You will receive your first monthly statement electronically within a few days after the installation of your Exede service.

Hi Demi,  Thank you for becoming a ViaSat/Exede Internet customer.  This was your 1st bill. ViaSat bills one month in advance and your current month's charges.  The bill is  sent within 1-3 days after your service is installed.  After the initial bill it will be only monthly charges. If you have any additional questions, please send your account and contact information to exedelistens@viasat.com.
