Question about first bill

I just got my internet set up. I was charged the set up fee $149.99 which I obviously expected. But I was told that I would be paying $70 a month and was just charged $91.30. Explanation please?

I just was setup also and got immediately billed.  I suspect the bill ahead like cable companies like COX.

Hello John, 

When your service is installed, you are billed for a prorated amount and a month in advance. Every month, we will send a billing notification to the contact email address you gave us when ordering the service. You will not receive a paper statement. You will receive your first monthly statement electronically within a few days after the installation of your Exede service.

Hi Demi,  Thank you for becoming a ViaSat/Exede Internet customer.  This was your 1st bill. ViaSat bills one month in advance and your current month's charges.  The bill is  sent within 1-3 days after your service is installed.  After the initial bill it will be only monthly charges.
