You get the F rating because of the 700 ms latency, not because speed is slow. There is nothing you can do about the latency, the satellite is 22.500 miles above earth, the signal must travel the distance 4 times. It is just a matter of physics.

Hi Mordecai, We don't like that rating of an F. We want to pull up that rating with you. I am not sure why you are experiencing
slow speeds. In order to figure that out, please send your account and contact
information to exedelistens@viasat.com. Thanks so much!

The lag is due to the nearly time it takes for the information to get from your Xbox to the satellite, then to the system it is sending it to on the internet, then the reply from the system back to the satellite and then back to you again. The norm is around 700 ms. Most games don't like anything much over 80 ms and some are even more sensitive.

Hi Noah, We make every effort to overcome the inherent delay (latency) of
the signals that travel to and from our satellites. Are you aware the distance between your house and our satellite
is 22,000 miles, which adds a small amount of latency to your connection with
the internet? Please visit this link on our website for additional information about gaming on Exede Internet: http://help.exede.net/articles/General/Exede-Games. If yu nay additional information pease send an email to exedelistens@viasat.com or call cusotmer service at 855-463-9333. Thanks
