What brand and model of wireless router do you use? They tend to go bad over time or require maintenance.

You can also try rebooting your router by disconnecting  the power from it for a few seconds, then reconnect the power...then reboot your computer and see if your network shows up...your local network should show up even without your modem connected to it...so this is not an Exede problem.

Also try moving your computer closer to your router temporarily to verify it's not losing your network because of distance or if your router has failed..

Hi Cindy, What router are you using. Are you using the Exede Wi-Fi modem? If it is any other router than the Exede Wi-Fi modem, you will need to contact the router manufacturer.

As Diana said, if it's the Exede WiFi Modem, contact Exede by emailing exedelistens@viasat.com. If it is any other router, you will need to contact whomever made the router.

Another possibility is that the wireless adapter in your computer or device has gone bad. If other devices can connect from the same location, that's most likely. If it is a computer, USB external wireless adapters are not expensive and, would solve the problem without having to open the computer and install a new internal adapter (also not expensive but, does require replacing the Ethernet card inside the computer on most since the wireless and Ethernet adapters are usually on the same card. And yes, the wireless can go out on those internal cards while the cabled Ethernet part still works fine.)

The only way to "find" my network is by stationing my computer, phone, ipad right by the router and yes the router is an exede router-can only get good connections in the one small room
