They are saying two weeks before anyone can service it. They are only willing to credit me $30.00 for the time down. Unacceptable.

Qualified Techs are in short supply and frankly I have found installs usually come before service calls.  I had to wait 3 weeks for the first time I placed a service call.  All of them since have been within a week (new tech just started that lives 5 mins from me).

I know of cases where techs have driven 3+ hours for a service call.

Probably in even shorter supply in the U.P. - God's country, went to school in Houghton.

Might want to try

and may find one who can service sooner.

Hi Lisa,

I would recommend going to the link that Old Labs posted. In some more remote areas it could just be a matter of coverage and who's assigned to you. Chances are you're assigned to a dealer and that's the earliest they can arrive. You can find a new dealer and request that they work with you instead (especially useful if you can be seen sooner).
