Jeff, if you have a router between your Exede modem and your computer(s) try connecting directly to a computer and bypass the router and then see what your speeds are.  If they remain at the levels you posted some sort of problem is going on and I'd encourage you to contact  exedelistens@viasat.com  for help.  If you find that you have higher speeds after by passing your router then you have something going on in the router.  Routers are a common cause of slow speeds.  Our router has done this to us on more than one occasion.  In our case rebooting the router has usually caused it to correct but it has slowed us down to less than 1 mbps at times. Good luck figuring out the cause of your slow speeds.

Hello Jeff, I can certainly understand your frustration with the slow speeds, I agree with Jacqueline, if you’re currently using a router this can make a huge impact on the download and upload speeds you should be getting. To help detect if your router is faulty or misconfigured is connecting your computer directly to your Exede modem, bypassing your router. If speeds improve significantly or slowness issues go away when your computer is directly connected to your Exede modem then your router would be the problem for your speeds. If the issue still remains please send us your account and contact info to exedelistens@viasat.com and we can further assist.
