Why can't I switch from the unlimited plan to a smaller data plan?

I used to be able to switch between plans before, but now that I've switched to the largest (most expensive) plan, I can't downgrade. I've had this plan for about 3 months and it won't give me the option to change plans. When I click 'change plan' it only lists the package I have now. Is this something sort of trick to keep me paying more? I have been checking my data usage, and I only am using less than 50 gigs so I'd like to change to that package until I think I need more.

Call customer care, there are apparently some bugs in the online change plan process from numerous reports here. However, it's likely you'll only have a lower priced unlimited data plan choices available at this time.

Right now things are a little varied between areas while ViaSat-2 continues to roll out.  I would second calling customer care at 855-463-9333

I dont want to change but would like to check out the packages in case there is something new I might want instead and I have no options either....who wins to listen to a sales pitch I have to visualize things to more understand and we all know package info isnt always just right from phone reps

I told the website I was a new customer and it gave me all the plans Available at my zip code. If you're just nosey this is the way to go

New customers in my area can have Unlimited Bronze, Silver or Gold.   My only choice is Unlimited Gold it seems.

I got 12mb  plans too but no Unlimited 30mb plan. Once again, this is really tacky. If I were in charge of this project, heads would roll.

The website is broken to put it basic. Multiple people have reported the same issue. However just call in and see what plans are available and change.
