IM THINKING OF GOING TO U FOR MY INTERNET AND GETTING RID OF MINE WHAT MAKES U BETTER
We have had Wildblue/Exede since 2006 and have had a very good experience, seldom needing assistance. The only time the service has been interrupted is during extreme weather but we live in northern Michigan close to the Canadian border and normally get a lot of snow so we know that interruptions will happen and deal with it. The rest of the year when we get bad storms Direct TV goes out before the internet does. We upgraded the dish and equipment when they changed to Exede a couple of years ago but otherwise their equipment has held up with no problems at all. When we upgraded to Windows 10 it used up a great deal of our monthly allowance and when I called customer service they explained why and were very accommodating with helping us out. People complain about the speeds for uploading and downloading and even though we have not experienced any problems, we only use it for pleasure not for business applications. I can personally give them a 5 star recommendation for our experience, and believe that you can expect the same. Hope this helps!
Who's your provider now, Bob? I've found Exede to be very reliable and the support and customer service reps to be, for the most part, well informed and helpful. The cost is similar and the available bandwidth is better than any satellite provider I'm aware of. On the other hand, if cable or DSL is available to you, that will almost certainly be a better deal.
