Liberty 25 with WiFi adds a combination modem/router for $5 per month - given some of the complaints about that combination device note sure it's worth the extra $5 per month - better invested in a separate router IMHO - at least you get to pick a router with the features you want rather than the one size fits all combination device (fully featured traffic monitoring should be a high priority).

In fairness, it  (the combo device) does however open up the possibility of the Boost 25 option (up to 25 mbps speeds) but with stingy data plans is that really a practical option???

Off hand it seems like that device is aimed at those who are unaware or unfamiliar with the plug and play nature of today's consumer oriented routers, or those thinking a 25 mbps option is going to solve their problems on satellite internet.

Mostly what Old Labs said. It's going to be the modem with the built in WiFi with the speedboost.
