Are the prices going to be going up with the new name? I also want to know if there is any way to block phone numbers or block telemarketers? I'm paying $30 a month for voice just to be harassed and annoyed.

Google "National do not call list" and get on it.  Report all violations the FTC including date, time, and source number.

Do not call, To get around this they are using machines. So you get called anyway. I'm using Vonage who has call blocking from both their end and from my end. Additionally leave your answering machine on the machines hang up when it answers. Good luck!

They get around using do not call by being a scam number the majority of the time. Something about criminals not following the law and all.

Good question on the blockage. I don't have Voice, so I couldn't tell you. I am sure others will be able to chime in.

As far as Plan pricing, my hope is they will continue to offer various plan levels and prices. I am a little worried though. Right now in some areas you can ONLY get unlimited plans. That might sound good to some people, but i appreciate options such as some Liberty plans along with the unlimited plans. Let's hope!

I have Dish Network TV and the DVR puts a big banner on any TV that's on in the house of the Caller ID, so I immediately know if this is a call from someone I know or do business with or if it's a telemarketer or scammer.

I have my answering machine set to answer after 4 rings and I recorded this message for caller to hear:

"Hello, I don't recognize your Caller ID or I'm not here.  Please wait for the tone and leave your name and why you're calling and I'll get back to you"

This has practically stopped most robo-calls, telemarketers and scammers.

This won't solve your home phone issue, but I use the Mr. Number app on my cell phone.  Its available for Google and Apples phones.  It automatically blocks most telemarketer calls.

Just throwing that info out there for anyone that is tired of spam calls on the cell phone.

Thanks for the suggestion on Mr. Number. I don't know how well it will work, but I am giving it a shot.
