Lutris.net is blocked from this beam. I've went to multiple people who also use viasat and the wevsite is blocked. Not sure the reasonable purpose behind this block, if it's intentional on the part of viasat, or if it's due to your shotty hardware. I'd however like to get access to this website and it's servers and not be a viasat-centric walled garden.

Doesn't load for me either. Download the Opera browser and try it with Opera Turbo enabled or with a VPN service if you have one. I don't think the site is blocked. It is probably a DNS issue which Viasat is infamous for.

I just used a generic addon in chrome. However to actually use the lutris software that won't help. Which there's a few simple work arounds for that as well.

Put in a ticket with Viasat and they'll get it fixed. This also happened when V1 first came online and no one could get the National Weather Service site to load.

I have. However I've noticed that if you complain here, while their customer service is still bottom of the barrel, they take action quicker. They probably due this for public perception.

The weather.gov waa a big one!
I never did get my banking site to work right with Viasat once the bank implemented a redesigned site. I ended up dumping the bank, so it worked out. Lol.

I am able to reach Lutris.net on the Viasat browser, just the home page, but I din't try to go further because I don't wish to download the game platform.
I am on VS1, Beam 314, Central NYS.

Timed out for me, I assume it's set to time out at like 600 MS and, if your latency is a bit over that when you try, it will time out.
That's something you need to contact Lutris about correcting.

You're right Ronald, I was able to load it on a DSL connection. I think this has to have some advanced troubleshooting on our end. Sometimes this happens on certain sites (online school, shopify) from time to time. It's something that has to be done on our end.

Thanks. Could you report this to the people that do the advanced trouble shooting on your end?

When I called they got confused at how to handle the situation because I filed an FCC complaint more than a year ago. They tried to blow smoke to get me off the phone. And when I protested they gave the half baked support that viasat tech support is known for. They didn't fix the issue. They toggled the web accelerator and then gave up and put a ticket.

Before you log in. The software itself is also blocked. Without VPN, a proxy, or some other tunnel there's no way to connect.

Actual site is located in France....when doing a tracert, it goes "dead" at Viasat's turf
Last time I did a tracert to Europe, it seem Viasat was handing off to a European like Telco. I just did a tracert to a German DNS server, and it was OK.
I suspect issue is a SNAFU in Viasat's routing table.

I can't get to Lutris.net on my beam either. It works fine when I use my cellular internet connection though.
