we have a belkinac1600 router however we lose our wifi connection quite frequently
It may be that you have some of the settings in the router set incorrectly. I am using an ASUS router, and have not had loss of connections. Usually when that happens, it is because the router has the wrong settings for DCHP, or it is timing out on the license time setting being set too short.
Hi David, Bev is correct. It sounds like the issue is with your router. Please do a direct connect between your computer and the modem.
