We have to wait two weeks for a service call to replace our modem. Is this typical? Once we found the right data plan for our needs, we've been happy with Exede. But this service issue is a big problem.

If you are upgrading to the WIFI modem, you can probably do it yourself. You might want to go to exede.com and use the dealer locator to find a local dealer who can get to you faster.  Please share where you live.

Thanks, Jim, for your suggestion. I asked them to send a new modem like they had when we upgraded to our current plan, but they said it had to be dealt with a service call. I also asked for another vendor, but was told he's the only one available in our area. We're in southern Oregon.

Hi Debbie, I'm sorry for the  inconvenience to replace your modem.  Service calls appointments are based on availability of our technicians. Please send an email to exedelistens@viasat.com  with your account and contact information and we will investigate this. Thanks.
