viasat - slow speeds

Day 5 of the slow speed problem - latest test -  12/18/2017  @  18:27, 0.04 Mbps download  0.37 Mbps upload.  Of course customer service said they were looking into it and would get back to me.   Maybe next year?    Customer service is a joke and not a good one.

i just got my service installed yesterday 12/17/17 and i see the same thing. kinda makes me wonder if i made the right choice. i got the unlimited sliver package and paying for speed at 25 Mbps. i am getting 1.13 Mbps download .45 Mbps upload.

Check the modem  http://192.168.100.1   I'm running about 20Mbps but my beam is usually not seriously congested. Here are my results:
Rx Power -23.2 dBm, Rx S/N 8.1dB
Cable Resistance 1.5 Ohms, Cable Attenuation 0.0 dB

What is your general location? Was it installed from a reputable company? Did he run some speed tests before he left?

What does http://192.168.100.1 show?  In particular, what is SNR, "Cable resistance," and "Cable attenuation?"  There might be a problem with your installation.

@pete These people are trying to help you. You need to communicate with them. I've seen them solve problems like this before. If you just want to complain, then don't come here!

yes sir i agree with ya on that one :3    ... but yet... if he refuses help :(  ... then that is there problems :0... not ours... ;-; (unless he says he needs help at least we are trying to help am i right??? :3     )
