After 4 1/2 years of canceling an account with Via Sat and returning all equipment in the same box I get a call from a collection agency. They say there is a claim against me for unreturned equipment from 4 1/2 years ago. This may I say is the first I have EVER been contacted for the matter. I have also in those 4 1/2 years sign back up for Via Sat internet and have a current account. What a mistake that was! Also under that same phone number of the previous account. When I called to set up my existing account there were no problems. After getting off the phone with the collection agency I immediately called Via sat. They looked the previous account up and said they were going to open a ticket and have cooperate look into it and to call back with in 5-7 days. So I did. When I called back they said the have received the modem but not the tree-a. So they obviously have a inventory problem if they have now just found the modem. Also, let me just state that when returning equipment it is all returned in the SAME box! They now tell me to call back in 3 days and they will continue looking for the tree-a. So I call back in 3 days. They are now saying they can't find it and I owe $150. They lady proceeds to me to contact UPS and give them the time and date i was there to see if they can locate the package. FROM 41/2 YEARS AGO!! And again the modem and they tree-a are returned in the SAME BOX and they received the modem. This company is the worst! I am now looking into a different company for internet and am canceling my current account with them as so as possible!!!
