Throttled speed + generally horrible service = .38 Mbps download speeds.  I haven't been able to stream video for weeks.  Reset/rebooted multiple times with moments of decent service, but nothing longer than an hour.   Sent an email complaining and received a response telling me my service looks awesome from their end and shows 100% up time.

Ok, thanks Viasat.  Obviously your stats override my actual user experience.   Tonight I've rebooted/reset modem multiple times, contacted chat, phoned support, and I've been assured that my problems do not exist.

I have the Unlimited Gold plan, and they throttle me at 100 gigs.   From "up to" (that's an important distinction to know) 50 gigs, they've apparently throttled me down to .38 Mbps.   That's a decimal point before the 38.  Speedtest.net won't even load.  Google's speed shows the .38 Mbps.  On a positive note, my upload speeds are at 2.26 which is twice what I usually get.   I pay $160 a month for this crap service.  Tomorrow, I'm going to pay $210 to end my contract and go with good ol' 3Mbps dsl service, which is all I can get in my location.  That's 10x what I'm getting now, half the price, and won't go out every time a crow flies past my dish.
