This company took 3 payments out of my checking acct last month and its been over 2 weeks with them still giving me the run around. The agent just told me it could be until the next billing cycle before they are refunded. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!!

You know you can turn theem in to the Better business bureau. Might help speed things up a little. I just cant believe the price we have to pay for internet and somedays its like dial up! The other days its just so slow! Frustrating! Good luck!

The BBB is not a government agency and has no power, there are hoards of complaints on their site about Viasat.  Why anyone thinKs the BBB matters in beyond me. They have been caught upgrading companies that buy their products and downgrading those that don't. They are nothing, but some how a lot of people think they have power, they do not.

Sorry ExSat, I didn't believe you and had to check for myself. If that doesn't tell you what a joke the BBB is, nothing will. Viasat has to be buying their accreditation crap for thousands a year , plain and simple.

No. They just have all the contract language to prove they are meeting their contractual obligations and responding to customers according. That's all.

But you have to chuckle when people on here keep saying they are going to complain to the BBB about Viasat A company they give an A+ rating to.

I tried to buy a small landscape company I was partnered with years back.  BBB stickers all over the trucks, logos in the ads, yet the list of disgruntled customers was endless.  I was told, you pay to be a member of the BBB, you pay for their accreditation, the use of their "trusted" logo in advertising, and a bunch of those impressive looking decals.

They are in business to make money.  Whos gonna pay for a negative rating?

Its not the number of complaints, its not their wrong doings, if the member company tells BBB the issue was "resolved" they keep their rating!

They refuse a refund and simply credit your bill ... resolved.  You get mad and terminate service ... resolved.  Its a very gray area, the BBB IS A FARCE!

And no, I did not buy the company, my attorney discovered they had 5 pending lawsuits at the time for fraud, theft, etc.  He said it wasnt worth whatever pending contracts I was "buying" and used technical legal terms like "idiot" and "moron" if I proceeded with the purchase  LOL

But they had an A+ rating from the BBB.
