I  just got home and computer, everything off.  No wireless devices running.  It's the modem/router that I got from Boost 25.
I've noticed it seemed to be running hot to touch lately. so I turn everything off and unplug the modem.   I did not unplug the modem today when I left the house.
Do I need a new modem?  Don't want to start a fire.

Hi Imma,   We will need to do some troubleshooting to determine if a new modem is needed.  Please send your account and contact information to exedelistens@viasat.com or call Exede Customer Service at 855.463.9333.

Fortunately the modem and wiring are capable of handling high temperatures but is it in an area of the house where it can stay cool? (ie is it in an area where the sun is directly hitting it? or somewhere where a fan can be placed?) If there's still concern please contact us at the email Diana provided or give us a call.

The modem/router is in a well ventilated area without obstructions, (up high and nothing on the sides or top.  A fan is not possible because it makes me uncomfortably cold.  I already use blankets.   I do try to remember to unplug it at night and whenever we leave the house.  I haven't been able to email, but I will.  Thank you everyone.
