That's it....I'm done

I'm done, been a customer one month.  Each time I set down at the computer the modem has disconnected.  Have to reconnect, speeds are slow slow slow.  Even a facebook page is not usable with the slow speed.  Most of the time it says there are no networks found.  I have to click on the modem icon at the bottom of the screen and reconnect to it.  So my junk is coming back.  I called and sweet talked Centurylink into taking me back for $55 a month and it works perfect.  I will not pay a disconnect fee, this service with Exede has been completely misrepresented.  DO NOT waste your time and money with these people.

So if you had Centurylink, why in the world did you want to move to satellite internet?

I think I'd have to parrot Veteran SatUser here. Satellite is largely suited for people that do not have any DSL or Cable options. Please send an email to I'd like to see if this might have been a potential missale by DirecTV or something like that

Still doesn’t make sense. Properly installed equipment will work. If his computer was plugged into the modem, there is no reconnecting or need to click on anything.

I have a hard time believing he had to sweet talk Centurylink into taking his money again.
