What speed test are you using.

Testmy.net is the most accurate for satellite internet. Do the manual download test with a 12 MB file size, smaller size files will not give accurate or consistent results.

OK, no significant difference between WiFi vs ethernet; however a bit on the slow side as I see it. While some have been indicating and pleasantly surprised by higher speeds today, it's not a universal phenomenom apparently. It may simply be your service area/beamis over utilized.

Your numbers look about like mine right now in Virginia (Beam 329) and are pretty typical for a weekend in my service area but YMMV. Identify your location and you may find others on your beam experiencing similar speeds.

Regardless, I'd probably avoid VPN, as suggested in your other thread, whenever speeds are that low.

Alternately, you may want to contact Viasat to have them determine whether you may have an equipment issue. Similarly check to see if you've exhausted your priority data.

I agree with Old Labs.  Your best bet is to call into Customer Care at 855-463-9333.  They can check your equipment, and escalate to Tier 2 and higher if needed.  You can email my team at ViasatListens@viasat.com, but we cannot escalate from an email.  (We'd still be happy to look at your account though!)
