15 GB cap, then throttled to up to 600 kbps. I use it exclusively for online gaming.

Not a home internet service.  15GB cap.  I don't understand why people keep bringing up these hotspot, tethering junk. Even if us in the country can get it.  I had Verizon internet, the USB modem.  Worked great, 45mbs.  But only 10Gigs.  Now I get 2-10mbs with 150Gigs.  Very happy customer!

They can’t address the ping. 50-60ms is normal on cell data and suitable for gaming. 650-1000 is normal for satellite data and is not suitable for fast paced gaming. It works in a lot of cases, but it’s not fun.

took a look over at Verizon and I cannot find a good story explaining "Verizon hotspot"

What is a "Verizon hotspot"?

I am able to access a Verizon 4G LTE tower [waayy out there] and tether my smart phone to my computer for Internet access.  It is anything but a "hotspot".

"What chu talking about, Willis?"

Maybe this?  Data is very expensive.     https://www.verizonwireless.com/home-services/lte-internet-installed/

Monthly Data Allowance

10GB$60
20GB$90
30GB$120
40GB$150

And Hotspots.      https://www.verizonwireless.com/internet-devices/
