Still unable to enter 'MyExcede' account...

I pay for a service that was sold to me under false assurances......and have never been able to log into 'MyExcede' without calling tech support.....

One month ago I posted my anger at this company.....I find it enlightening that I can log in HERE....and Not my account.....this whole idiocy reminds me of the early days of cell phones and the rip off companies who charged incredible rates for 'by the minute' calls......where even a wrong number lasting less than 30 seconds could cost $5.......I have been with my lawyer for the past month going over every log....e-mail and phone record I have and I cannot bring 'theft of services' charges as I would like to as there is really no record other than the first phone call I made where I specifically asked concerning my 90 day introductory period and upgrading to the 'Freedom Plan'...... So I will post a reply from a rep here from the original (now closed post):

" Evan,  I want to work with you one-on-one to help you resolve  your issue. I have looked for emails sent to Viasat and I cannot locate any.  What email address did you send them?  Please send one to exedelistens@viasat .com  Thanks so much and I look forward to work with you." 

Since I have no choice BUT to work with this company until such time as I can get out of this crud hole and I cannot log in to my account to even check my stats I will have to submit to the tyranny of this company......e-mail ME.......as I wouldn't trust sending anything to this company. I am extremely dissatisfied and disillusioned about everything concerning Wildblue/Excede.

If you haven't already done so, you need to send an an email to exedelistens@viasat.com and include your account and contact information. This forum is powered by GetSatisfaction, a third party, and the moderators here don't know your account - all they know is your name, need to verify you are who you say you are and need to know how to contact you.

Hello Evan. It sounds like we need to reset your myexede log-in. Like Old Labs mentioned, the forum is kinda like the Apple help forums in that someone can mention an issue and find a resolution without calling in. However your issue is very account specific and we would either need you to call us at 855-463-9333 or email us at exedelistens@viasat.com with your account information so we can do a reset for you so that you can log into myexede.com

Calling them is often an exercise in futility. Unlike most, I have had outstanding service from the technical side of Exede; great speed, uninterrupted signal etc, it has been the best internet provider I have ever encountered. Yet, the online payment system is refusing to accept payments for the second month in a row, and this is a perfect example of where the customer service begins to fall apart. I tried to call on three occasions today to pay my bill, each time waiting on hold until the representatives phone began ringing. As soon as the phone was picked up, it was then disconnected. Someone answered it only to end the ringing. Exede has had two months to solve the issue, and yet it remains. Most companies would place priority on their payment system being in perfect order. As for those working in their customer service, finding one competent enough to help is a hit or miss situation. Some care so little they would prefer to just hang up rather than accept an incoming call. Surely those who do try to be of assistance can be identified and rewarded for a job well done. The rest need to be weeded out and sent packing. If Exede could only bring the level of customer service to the level of their technical service, they would be the best internet service provider out there.

Just for the record here......I have had to call every time I have tried to get onto 'MyExcede'.....I get into the site ONLY when I have tech support......I have never been able to log Back in after talking with them.....passwords set up and changed every time......and yes I will be e-mailing the address.......I find this whole run-around the worst type of techno scam around.....So if you are going to offer only trite advice.......DON'T.....

Just for the record...

This is a social media forum moderated by "social media moderators" out of ViaSat corporate - they don't represent customer support but rather serve as a bridge between customers and customer support to resolve issues - hence the recommendations made to contact them at exedelistens@viasat.com (I don't believe the phone number gets you to them).

In addition to this forum, they monitor other public forums where complaints may exist.

Exede is reaching out to you to make you not just a satisfied customer, but a happy one as well. 

If your password is reset by Exede, then log into your account and change it SOON as the temp. password will expire requiring you to call back again, every time.



P.S. It is your lawyer that is ripping you off, not Exede.  Your service agreement with Exede is to go to arbitration in a dispute, not court and your lawyer know this but is feeding your anger and milking your money in the process.
