So tired of hacked e-mail. Need help-desperately!

Third hack attack. My e-mail was hacked again, for the third time in a month. A stream of e-mails went out from my account this morning. I am very tired of this. I am losing friends over it. I have changed my password four times. Also, I do not have a hard drive. I use a Chromebook, which is all cloud based, so there should be nowhere for a virus to exist on my computer. Help, please.

Based on what you've stated, it's doubtful that your email account has been hacked (but possible that one of your friend's has). Instead, it would appear your email address is being spoofed by whomever is sending the SPAM.

Regardless, ISPs can and should take steps to eliminate this problem - let's see if Exede is listening... a good technical article on steps that can be taken can be found at:

Interesting that neither exede.net nor wildblue.net have DMARC records and the SPF record still points to Google at last check.
