slow speeds

even after I have started a new month of service I have slow speeds and if I am using my wifi it says slow network. if I just started a new month how can every thing be slow

Outside of waiting out the annual holiday rush where demand exceeds capacity, not much. Most spot beams are running slower than usual due to new devices coming online, heavier downloads, new toys, etc.    

However, you might want to send an email to exedelistens@viasat.com along with your account and contact information (do not post here and they don't now that information from your profile here). They'll be able to rule out the possibility that it's an equipment related slow down

Beware of Excede's wireless modem. Disable the wireless part and use a high grade wireless router directly wired to the Exede modem. Resulting speeds are acceptable for movies at the SD level. Peter
