On the liberty pass or not? I have had very slow speeds on liberty pass the the past week. All day today never got faster than 32 kilobytes/second (256 kilobit). Getting good speeds when not on the liberty pass.

We upgraded from the 12/15 plan to the Liberty 25-Boost 25. From $90.00 to $95.00. It has been slow most of the time with some good spots but not 95 dollars worth. We're in the northern Catskills in New York. I've done speed tests day, night and early morning. Why so expensive and slow? I wouldn't mind expensive if it were as fast as advertised. Speedtest by Ookla tonight at 10:37 PM...Ping 636, Down 1.20, Up 1.04. Is this what you get for $95?

Have you tried doing a speed test with your computer connected to the modem with an Ethernet cable? Many people with the new WiFi modem have reported very sow speeds using the WiFi but great speeds when directly connected to the modem. They go ahead and connect their own wireless router with the Ethernet connection from the WiFi modem to their router, and see a great improvement in speeds.

Yep.  It's horrible during LNFZ when you can actually use it.  They always blame kids out of school using up all the bandwidth during Summer and Winter.

I've been getting slower speeds between 9 am and 4 pm weekdays. Speeds in those times varied before, but often got up to 1-2 megabit, now it seems hard capped at 256 kilobit.

unplug router and modem wait 2 mins plug modem in wait until the lights stop flashing on modem about 3 mins or so then plug router back in and than once router resets do a speed test! In most cases ur speeds should be better

I have had slow speeds since I signed up.  Worst decision ever.  I'd rather go without than pay $80 a month

Mark,  Please send an email to exedelistens@viasat.com with your account information. Let us take a look and determine what is causing the slow speed.  Slow speed issues can be caused by  variable reasons.

Yes Mark do contact them. They will determine that it is Social Media or streaming movies which I don't do either one of theses, that's what I'm always told.
