Slow speeds

We switched to Excede because our only other option was Windstream which was getting us about .2 mbps. At first, we were thrilled with the speeds we were getting. Now, however, our 12 mbps liberty pass disappears in about 2 days. Then our speeds drop to about .1 to .2mbps. I called to upgrade to unlimited data because I saw an add for unlimited data at $100 per month. I was willing to pay this but was told this price is for new customers only. If they want to keep customers they should offer the same deal to all. We will be dropping Excede as soon s I find a replacement.

I too HATE the "new customers only" garbage!  Loyalty means nothing to them.  And its not JUST them its anybody that "entices" new customers in with special offers then bends them over.  When we moved into this house there were dishes mounted everywhere.  It literally looked like a NASA installation.  Its a trend out here I guess since so many homes have so many dishes.  As soon as the "new customer" package runs out, somebody else in the house signs a new contract, sometimes with the same company, and they dump the old one.

Ive been with the same TV service pretty much since 94.  The price has gotten ridiculous.  The programming sucks.  The "other guys" are guaranteeing me HALF the price (Im paying now) for 2 years, AND free movie channels for a year.  I get NOTHING for being with my company so long.  Free movies for a year AND $1200 in MY pocket not theirs .... yea I think Santa is bringing new TV service here.

Pretty much everyone gets some kind of deal when they first join. I used mine years ago, so I don’t complain.

A typical user that makes the switch having no idea how much data they use in the month, not to mention other issues such as high latency. Sure you can get "unlimited" now but that is significantly more than Liberty 12
