I have an SMA Sunny Boy inverter for the solar system on my home that communicates to the web via my Exede satellite service...most of the time. It recently lost communications (again) on 8/28/17, the same day our data is renewed. This also happened two months ago and it took our solar installer and Exede 6 weeks to work it out. The source of the problem was eventually found to be a security change made by Exede. Can someone at Exede work with someone at SMA-America to find a way to keep security updated without knocking inverters offline every two months? Thanks!
