Has anyone had the LNFZ getting buggy between 4-5 AM ?  I've downloaded large games, etc from 12-4 twice this week and not had a spike .  The spikes only come when I say "Hey I got about 30 mins left, let me go ahead and look at youtube, download 400+ emails with some having images, etc" .

Like today.  I downloaded about 300 messages I was trying to catch up on with Opera Email and some had images .  I went to take a shower, come back and we done spiked 500 MBs again.
The other time I thought it was a new user causing a 600 MB spike when told the LNFZ kicked on and off the proper time.

To me it seems that , atleast, the 4:30 to 5 AM data is being added.

I am now in my third billing cycle. The only way I have been able to monitor my data usage is to bring up the dashboard and capture a screen shot. Is there any other way? I used to have Skybeam but switched over after an unannounced two week period of spotty service while the the new towers were being upgraded.

You can use this, but they really want original screen shots sent to them.

I've never understood this requirement to believe you and they have been saying this ever since I've been with Exede. What are you supposed to do, go to the Exede portal every 5 or 10 minutes and take a screen shot for months on end in case something happens?? Even if you do this, what if it happens while you're not at the computer?? This has been one of the more demented things I've ever heard.

I have no clue. Here is my current plan, I am into my third billing cycle. EXEDE12 - 10 GB (6-MONTH PROMO 20 GB)
Now with 2X Data Allowance (20 GB total) per month for at least 6 months! This plan is great for people who need a solid connection to the Internet for basic use, including some online video. Data allowance returns to 10 GB after month 6.

Many customers have stated that their FZ is kicking in later than it is supposed to and we are addressing this issue. If you'd like to send me your information, I will make sure we look into your issue as well. Thank you.

Using your regular email program, send your message to exedelistens@viasat.com and attach your file before sending.

yeah, when i first saw the "brownout" and "blueout" attributes in the modem page, it was so obvious to me that brownout was when you were choked, and blueout was happy hour. i mean, makes perfect sense right? apparently not to exede. still not sure what those mean. brownout, no terrestrial link? the dirty ground is brown. blueout, no link to the bent pipe in the blue sky?

yeah, my happy hour seems to end at 4AM sometimes also.  at first i thought, well maybe realy it means its just started  somewhere else, and those freeloaders are bogging me down. then a few times i actually observed the transition at nearly precisely 4AM. gotta be a goof on exedes side, no way an entire geographic area coordinates so precisely when to launch transmission...
