Hello Stu,

There is a $95* standard charge for all service calls once customers have reached their 90 day warranty Please send us your account and contact info to exedelistens@viasat.com. I would be more than happy to review your account and see how we can assist with your needed service call.

I toty understand your anger. And you did the right thing. Lrobably best to just cut your losses.... but I emplore you, just let it go....you will not get any satisfaction if you try to bill them or play hard ball.... pay the etf, and cut your losses.

And you are absolutly correct..... if the install was correctly done......what is it...36 Inches down in the ground or at least 12 below frost line....... now if it was a pole mount....the tech has to provide a photo with a card on it wit your address and account number.....and in that picture he is to show the exposed home....with a tale measurer clearly showing the deph........ every tech has to do this on ever install to get paid......so......if you feel install was faulty...... demand the quality control picture...... it a licture is worth a thousand words....take you 2 seconds to see if your unlucky....or a victim of shoddy workmanship.

Only ViaSat contractors are required to take the pictures. Installers for local dealers only need to take pics if the dealer requires it.

I agree that Stu should take some pics. If he can prove he got a bad install Exede may help him and charge back the original installer instead of the customer.

Well, if you cancelled your account, hope you have another Internet option.  That was a terrible pole mount install. I have to believe that Exede would have made things right.  FWIW, mine is 36" deep with 180lbs of concrete.  +10 years and never needed to be re-aligned.
