Phishing email from ritterdl@hughes.netwanting personal info.

I received an email from ritterdl@hughes.net wanting me to update my billing information due to a problem with the last bill.

I have taken all these steps as this has happened to me before and I had to change my credit card because I was fraudulently charged for match.com and other similar sites.

I never respond to emails asking for personal or financial information. If I think it might be legitimate, I call the company that sent the email. I know when my billing card expires, I will call to update that when needed. A reputable company will never ask for your credit card, password or personal info in an email. They may send a notice asking you to call them to update your card if it is close to the expiration date but, they won't ask for it directly via email.
