Not happy with service

Very dissatisfied with Excede. Worst internet service I have ever had. Customer service  is a joke !! We have called numerous times with complaints on internet speed/data usage/poor connection and no help. They finally agreed to send out tech free of charge they told us but of course we were charged $95 for this and having trouble getting the charge taken off. It was worth the $105 charge to cancel services early out of contract but now have to deal with Corporate to try and get $95 charge taken off. Do not recommend Excede to anyone !!!

Satellite internet service is terrible compared to cable internet, but for those of us that don't live near a large city it's all we can get. And believe me, Hughesnet is several orders of magnitude worse. They even cap the "free" period during the night, and their throttled speeds are barely enough for TCP overhead, much less loading webpages. Exede has their own issues but in comparison to other satellite companies they're not that bad.
