No regular wifi connection.

My wifi has been almost non-existent for a while now. Only time I get good service is if I am right on top of router. I have to reconnect to my direct tv practically every day and my phone has not been receptive much at all. This is aggravating me beyond words. I pay my bill every month and use way less than my plan requires. I want this fixed asap.

Tina, I'm sorry you are having problems with your service. Yo can call 855-463-9333 for assistance or, email your account and contact information as well as a description of the issues you are having to exedelistens@viasat.com for assistance.

I called the number and they send me directly to payment dept. no customer service selection at all when calling that number.

Tina, that is not true, I just dialed Customer care, the options the automated system offers after it says "How may we help you?" are: Billing and Payment, Data, Manage my account, Technical support, Service appointment. You simply have to say which one you need. In your case, Technical Support.

Bev, if a customer owes an outstanding balance then they are usually routed to the pmt dept without any other prompts or options.

And if that is the case, that is the reason their service is not working. I would assume someone would know that they have not paid their bill so, would do that before thinking there was a problem with their service.

Billing is the first option the automated system offers, but not the only one, unless of course you have not paid your bill. You do have to pay what you owe before any other problem can be addressed.
