no connection

I LOST CONNECTION ALMOST 4 DAYS AGO.  I CALLED A CUSTOMER SERVICE TECH WHO SAID FROM HIS END IT LOOKS LIKE EVERYTHING IS CONNECTED AND THE REASON FOR NO CONNECTION WAS A SATELLITE ISSUE THAT WOULD CLEAR UP IN A COUPLE OF HOURS.  IT'S BEEN 4 DAYS.  I UNPLUGGED AND PLUGGED EVERYTHING BACK IN AND SHUT DOWN ALL DEVICES IN THE LOOP AND KEEP GETTING A UNCONNECTED CABLE ERROR.  I CHECKED THE CABLE INSIDE AND OUTSIDE THE HOUSE AND DON'T SEE ANY BREAK.
