New wifi modem works great

After a long hard battle with C/S, I finally obtained the new wifi modem with 25M speed.  Everything is connected now and it works much better than the older system.  Latency issues are much improved as well.  The first speed test I clocked in at 23M!  One question: I noticed the data usage meter reset to 0 and is clicking from there, even though I'm not to reset until the 16th.  Will the billing cycle be different?

For privacy, I moved to the far edge of the neighborhood in a very rural area, so satellite is the only way to have tv and internet.  My closest neighbor does have 50M speed cable internet.  I've had Wildblue and now Exede for years and was very unhappy.  But I've had the "Essential 10-Boost 25M speed-Wifi modem, Free Zone 3A-8A local time" for just over two weeks now.  Since I've switched, the latency is very good., and speeds range from 14-29M.   I couldn't be happier.  Gone is the slow speed and mysterious data usage that I could never explain.  There is no one, even if they parked in a car, that could be close enough to "steal" my data.  With the new modem, the usage has been fine and I can account for every Gigabyte that I use, and it seems to last much longer.  And what about that neighbor who has cable, well she's coming over now to use mine!  I suggested she switch over to Exede now!  Her cable internet has been out more than it's been on.

One final thing:  during the Free Zone I sometimes download programs from DirecTV from OnDemand (which is internet accessible only).  I frequently have to reset the connection to Exede, but finally a Tech for Direc told me it's an issue with their model HR44 Receivers, which I have, and not Exede.  He said there are other models which have the same issue, and eventually they'll have a Firmware update for it.
