Is this just part of the process and delayed or is there something I have to do to be able to access my old emails? My understanding was we did not have to take action but all would migrate to new platform. Thanks!
I just finished a live chat with a "specialized email agent" but all they could say was that they recognize this as a common problem and are working to correct it as soon as possible. I was hoping for a better answer and voiced my opinion about how inconvenient it is but the agent just said we would be notified when it was corrected.
Only emails that are showing in this new format (which appeared first thing this morning) are really old ones from 2013. What's up with that? I sent a test email from another account and it didn't arrive. We not only do personal correspondence but business correspondence as well. Not happy. Not happy at all. In the midst of business, as we speak, and the correspondence up to this point is GONE. I do not have time to call and wait and wait and wait, also tried chat option but there's a wait there, also. We've ignored the Google Takeout info because as far as I know we haven't used any Google Apps. In the meantime I'm scrambling and looking around in case there's something we're unaware of. If we lose business over this it's going to get ugly.
