Is there a way to monitor network traffic by devices connected to the router? And the type of traffic each device is using? I'd like to pinpoint where exactly all my data is being used.

If speaking of the Exede WiFi modem no, not to the best of my knowledge; however, most of us into that level of detail regardless of whether the new Exede WiFi Modem (combination device) or the older modem only, utilize a variety of 3rd party routers for that purpose. The best you can do with the Exede WiFi modem is call in or conatct them and they'll provide a general, categorized summary of usage.

My preference leans towards ASUS routers that have the built-in Traffic Analyzer feature or those which are supported by the ASUSWRT Merlin firmware. I'm currently evaluating ASUSWRT Merlin on an ASUS RT-AC3200 (it adds some addional functionality).

Other brands are also recommended, Netgear is often suggested when coupled with Netgear Genie. But others will likely wigh in with their own preferences.

The following link lets you test drive the ASUSWRT Traffic Analyzer:

It's a bit quirky as a demo goes but gives a feel for it (if you close the Introduction).
