Unhappy with salesman

Lied to by salesman do not be fooled by this internet company. They will tell you what you want to hear just to sign you up and then you are stuck in a 24-month contract. My internet has not worked since day one of switching to this company every single day I have called to have it fixed they say they have fixed it and go to use that it's still does not work yet they want me to pay them $70 a month for non-working internet. My salesman told me I had a 30 day trial. Another lie I have called to speak to a supervisor they said in order for me to get out of the contract I would have to pay half of the contract cancellation fee which is $345. Everything about this company is a lie.

Can you cancel your card or dispute it? Maybe close bank account if they are taking from there. Good luck  So much for a 30 day trial

Sad part when I called the 1-800 number there is no such thing as a 30-day trial soon as you get it installed you're in a two year contract. I'm on the phone now with the bank. I left a perfectly good internet company for this company said I was supposed to get 12 megabytes never below 5 after my 10 gigs of data ran out nothing but lies. Said there was going to be no installation charges or no rental equipment fees but of course that was a lie too because I have to pay 9 99 I just got a letter in the mail stating call the 1 800 number they said they have to charge that no matter what there is no waving the charge so another lie. 3 hours and 44 minutes on the phone with them this morning let them know I don't have good phone service if the phone gets disconnected please call me back well how convenient as they're sending me over to corporate the phone gets disconnected and I can't call talk to anyone to send me there I have to explain the whole entire situation just what I love to do on my day off. seems like I should be getting paid for this I wish I would have never got that flyer in the mail and call that number Better Business Bureau you will be hearing from me!!!

ummm just so ya know its NOT megabytes its MEGABITS-PERSECOND so therefore you HAVE to misunderstood them... also this satillite internet is ONLY for people who CANNOT get cable internet NOR dsl... also if ya have DSL OR cable internet then theyd suggest you staying with that... SATILLITE internet is ONLY for rural areas... also so yeah hope ive helped!!!

Since you came here to rant, my first observation is that it would be correct to assume you know how to read, therefore you should have read what you were agreeing to, or else I have a bridge in Brooklyn that I have up for sale and I'm looking for a buyer just like you.

If you had read a few other post here you might have noticed nobody gets anywhere with a problem with exede by calling the customer service number.  That call center can only handle account details at best. It is suppose to be better than it is, but that's not how it usually works out.

I'll save you some time reading since you have somewhat of an aversion to doing that; Send an email to exedelistens@viasat.com describing what problems you are having with your service. The genuine exede employees that receive those emails are empowered to actually do something to make you a happy customer, as that is their prime directive at their job. Exede prefers to have happy customers that  have a good internet experience with their service so send the email and include your account number and contact information so they know who you are and what account is having a problem.

I speak from experience.  I had a severe problem with my service and the email got it fixed.  The results of my sending an email can be seen by clicking HERE.

not necessarily bud, I never seen nor signed anything for the tech who installed my services :) he came installed everything and left.

If I had the time I would have read obviously you sign up for an internet company it is supposed to work and you pay for it done deal but this company is too low life to work like that waste of my time and anyone else's that tries to use this company have a good day

Well now you have 24 months of time to consider 5 minutes of reading that could have avoided all this drama.

You have a good day too, which can be even better if you take the precious time to send the email I suggested.

I was given nothing to read at all so there was a form online I needed to fill out once the internet was set up which I never did that because my internet was never set up it has never worked

Sort of true, sort of not true, so a Half-truth.

Exede is an environmentally conscious company that also cares about deforestation for the purpose of making paper that ends up in over-flowing landfills, thus for the most part they are paperless. You were presented with a contract on the installer's computer to read and electronically sign by typing your name, agreeing to what you should have read on that same screen. You were given the opportunity to read what you were about to agree to.

You just typed without reading and now show up wanting to play the victim to shift the blame of your lack of doing prudent business to exede.

Exede didn't lie to you to get you to sign up. Your installer may have, but the installer is NOT exede.  Since you are not having a good internet experience, again I say, send the email or once again, it is ultimately your fault for not doing the prudent thing at the time, even now.

my installer did not even have a computer when he came, he set everything up and drove off, I did not even know he was gone, he did not present anything for me to sign.no papers,no screen,nothing.

Salesman LIED to me 3 times after I asked him are you sure. I should have not been in a hurry to NOT READ The contract.
