Three new plans showing on my account this morning. All three are unlimited plans, Bronze, Silver and Gold. Slow down priority is 40, 60, and 100. I notice there is no mention of a wifi modem, so I'm assuming these plans can use the modem I have now?

Yeah, wait for the other shoe to drop. I assume all of those are touted as "up to" 12 Mbps.

Yes, all are up to 12Mbps. That's what I've always got, sometimes more, no problem with the speeds.

It's likely tied to the modem. The non-WiFi modems max at 12mbps.

If that is the case, then I will probably change to the Bronze Unlimited plan. It would actually be a little cheaper than the Liberty 25 I'm on now. I'm fine with the up to 12 speeds. Thanks.

Jamees, maybe cheaper, but just keep in mind that the video resolution is capped at 320P, which is equivalent to 1990s TV.

That's fine, I don't stream TV. I have a Dish and antenna for TV service. I watch a youtube video once in a while on the PC. What it would do for me is give me a max of at least 40GB data compared to 25 that I get now, for a cheaper price.

I'm not seeing those plans as options on my account. But if I look up plans that are available in my zip code, it says I have a choice of 6 plans, three with wifi and three without, with the soft caps as in the original post; the only difference between the wifi and non-wifi plans is $5/month and the 12 mbps maximum speed limit with the non-wifi modem.

I'm fine with my current silver unlimited (150 GB) plan at the moment but am interested to see the new plans available with the new satellite. It's also good to know that I can save some money by switching to a lower soft cap data limit plan if necessary.
