It's too much trouble to get away from "Welcome Customer" at Exede.net

I must use the TOR browser to get to a virgin visit to Exede.net.

Someone called me from the Redding Ca area asking about satellite Internet.  I of course talked-up Exede but when I go to Exede.net to tell them what they can expect in the way of plans I CANNOT get around the customer portal.  There is NO WAY  to give a perspective customer any information about Exede that is meaningful.  Clicking the fake "Not a customer yet" link at the bottom left portion of the page is a lesson in futility.  It always returns back to the same stupid page I have no use for.  Any link/button on the page is useless.

I downloaded and installed the TOR browser, reached Exede.net from Germany and got the page ANYONE should be able to reach.  It really pisses me off when my VPN (one of the best in the world) cannot reach Exede.net as a non-customer either.  I'm not deleting all my cookies just to do this.  My advice to my friend:  "Wait, Exede is still in it's infancy, it needs to grow up and learn a few things before it will be a viable choice."  It shouldn't be THAT HARD to have the "Not a customer yet" link actually work.
Word-of-mouth can bring subscribers but not when I can't even tell someone what plans are in their area when they don't have any Internet yet themselves to look it up.

As it turns out, Exede is NOT a good choice around Redding:  Who in their right mind would want any of these plans?  I cropped-off the part that shows $99.00 for standard installation, oops.

TOR spoofing the MAC address with TAILS? Perhaps it is keying on the MAC address and that is why the VPN doesn't bypass it either?

That's very possible. My VPN is used by corporations around the world, but my MAC is probable still showing.  I always thought the cookies were to blame but then again...

I still think Exede should send someone to the page Bev shows below when the "Not a customer yet" link is clicked.  New customer recommendations can be a good thing for Exede if we can better sound like we know what we're talking about when discussing the benefits of going with Exede rather than that other inferior company.

The reason why I think it is the MAC address is I have Exede, but through a reseller. So when I go to inquire about what plans are available to me, it comes up saying it looks like I already am an Exede customer (I am but I am not a customer through Viasat...lol). Anyhow..I can still look at the plans because I don't have a customer portal.

Try this link, it works fine for me to see what a non customer would see.

@ Bev,

Wow !!!   Now that thing works !  How nice.  It's bookmarked and a "save page as" has been recorded just in case I loose the bookmark.
