Is there a best day to call customer service?

The title is pretty self explanatory.  I need to wait until I don't have a connection again before I call them about it, and for the most part I can pretty much plan when my connection is going to go out again.   Someone on the chat feature gave me an idea of the best time of day to contact customer service so that's good.  Obviously weekends would probably be pretty busy, but what about the rest of the week?  Anybody know if some days are better than others?  I've never had to deal with customer service before.  Thanks for your time.

Probably early morning. Not sure why you experience sporadic outages, but hope you get it solved.

Mornings, between 7 am and 10 AM Central time are usually a short wait unless there is a major storm over some part of the country, then you may see longer waits regardless of the time.

For some reason people call in a lot during weather outages, even though it's pretty clear that the issue is the weather. Viasat monitors the weather so, they know it's weather causing an outage before many of the customers that will be affected are actually affected but still, people call.

People just don't always think things through. I'm a morning person so, if I need to, calling in the morning works for me.  I was mostly curious if a particular day of the week was less busy than others.

If you are having an issue and it's not related to the weather you don't need to wait until it goes dead. It could be malfunctioning hardware and they could run a diagnostic at any point during the day to check.

The employee I was chatting with when I clicked "chat with an agent" is the one that told me I needed to call when the service was actually out.

whenever your having problems... you can either to call or chat with them. ive talked and chatted with them before. but... due to my laptop and desktop giving out in 1 month. (thats what i get for getting used computers... but hey... what can you do when your on a monthly income right???) ive done both chat and call... you have options i suggested you. so what i recommend is calling them when everyone is at work that is between 7am to 2pm of your timezones :3

They will tell you that, however, if your are having repeated non-weather related issues and you call when it is working they can run a diagnostic on their end and potentially find any problematic issues.
