She was probably referring to working being done at either your gateway or Accelenet (core node)  server - both are land-based. Many of us have been requesting greater transparency regarding scheduled outages and/or maintenance (particularly when many of us count on the free zones to perform heavy lifting which requires interrupting our sleep habits)  - but the fact that her statement was qualified with "probably" suggests this information is not readily available or she was unaware of how to obtain current status information.

Chelsea - When your Internet service drops out, what do the lights look like on your modem?  If they are all on/blinking then it probably isn't an issue with the satellite service.  If only the top light is on, then what do your modem stats look like when you have a functioning Internet?http://192.168.100.1/?page=modemStatus
Anything in red?  What is your Rx SNR?

Chelsea - Exede Diana will get you back on track.  If what you are saying about the modem status is correct, it doesn't sound like an issue with your satellite connection. Maybe a router or PC configuration issue?

Hi Chelsea, In order to determine if it's the modem or another issue, we will need to review your account and do some torubleshooting together.  Please send your account and contact information to exedelistens@viasat.com. thanks

Chelsea, What operating system are you using? If you are using Windows 10, get rid of it. That was my problem too. It kept knocking my wifi out. As soon as I went back to Windows 8.1, everything was fine. Hope this helps... ^_^
