I received an email about signing up for a program where Exede would monitor my wifi speeds & I'd get unlimited wifi. I have received so many wildbllue spam emails, I wasn't sure if it was legit.

No, that's spam/phishing too. There are no unlimited data plans and, unlimited WiFi, you have that already via your router, just have metered internet connected to that unlimited WiFi.

It was actually do some testing & receive unmetered data.  It looked legit, but I'm always skeptical. Supposed to sign up by Apr. 6th

In the past there have been some ViaSat testing programs that have offered that and were legitimate - best to wait for an Exede monitor to weigh in but April 6 has obviously come and gone.

I have been  beta tester for 15 plus years for numerous products like now I am part of the Nest beta and DIsh Networks beta team. I would love a chance to beta test for Exede. Been a customer for over 10yrs so know very well about the troubleshooting steps involved with the equipment.
