I have not received a new modem for my new data plan

I navigated by clicking two different e mail buttons and it brings me here to what looks like a community forum page. Cause when it ask, "do you want to e mail us" thats what I want to do. Either way my question is I was told I was being mailed a modem to work with my unlimited data plan. It's been over two weeks and I have not received anything. P.S. I just tried to post this and now it wants me to sign in with a different entity call Get Satisfaction. I think it is time to go back and leave some reviews.

If you require direct customer support  you're best bet is to call 855-463-9333 or utilize EasyChat.

A moderator may eventually see this and offer you another alternative to by sending an email to viasatlistens@viasat.com. They will need your account and contact information since as you've noted you're now on a public GetSatisfaction community - so don't post it here.

You've just demonstrated the frustration many newcomers to the community experience in obtaining direct customer support - the page from which you came lead you to here in many cases. To your credit, however, you didn't come in raving, cursing, ranting, etc ;)

More often than not, that approach yields a hockey fight, the gloves come off and the sticks drop.

Viasat really needs to clarify the purpose of this community and guide folks to direct support venue better, IMHO.

Thus endeth another free zone session catching up on downloading and installing updates.
