I have a problem with my connection. I believe that the winds that we had from Harvey moved my dish. I am an easy care customer.

Connected to the modem through and Ethernet cord on slot 1 on your laptop or computer go to your web browser and type in 192.168.100.1/install

You will have on the next page 4 boxes, enter x467-df4k-kv94-x77d(modem key) hit enter

Next screen will be "Coarse fine pointing", go outside to the dish you should hear the transmitter beeping like a heartbeat. Loosen the three bolts on back of dish, turn dish slowly until you hear a ring ring tone. Once it ring ring it will be a slow steady beep. Turn until the tone gets faster and higher pitched and ultimately a solid high pitch tone.

Then tighten the bolts back then go back inside to your computer/laptop you should see a change in the signal strength. Press enter again and close browser. You should be good to go.

David,

If your modem was mispointed, you should call into Customer Care at 866-945-3258 to have a service call built and scheduled.  As an EasyCare customer, this would be no charge to you.

I advise against following Lester's instructions, as preforming your own maintenance is in violation of the Customer Agreement.  Also, without the proper training, you could accidentally further misalign the dish.
