A big thanks to Beau for helping me get my connection fixed.  Was a new customer have only been here a week and my speeds have been below avg from the beginning.  Have been playing email and phone tag with Beau for the last few days but finally was able to connect and we spent about an hour on the phone and now my speeds are lightning fast (lol ok maybe not quite that fast) but faster speeds than I have seen sense day one!!!   So a BIG THANKS to Beau for getting me fixed and keeping me from wanting to go back to HughesNet!!!

Sorry I miss read your reply. As Exede continues to grow and get more customers they continually have to make tweaks on the back side to keep everything running smoothly.  Sadly from my conversations with Beau its not an automated process entirely there is some things that have to be tweaked manually.  Example: the issues I was having with slow speeds only fix was for Beau to talk to the techs and have them change the channel I was on and route me to a different gateway server that was less overloaded.  

Satellite is not for everyone and if you are moving to an area that has DSL that might be a better option though speeds are less then what most customers get from Exede on avg.  Difference being you will most likely not have a data cap like satellite does and the latency or lag on the line will be much less then satellite.  But again that is something you will have to research and find out before you move and switch.

If you are still having issues today like you said shoot them another email and copy the link for this post from above and add it to the email and hopefully one of them that's there today can get back with you.

It never went to voice mail, just rang and rang. Anyway, my daughter is working from home today so I won't be able to trouble shoot at the moment. Are you in tomorrow or Monday?

Annalisa, just double checked and my voicemail is working. It does ring quite a few times, but will go to voicemail. I am in both tomorrow and Monday.

We all do a little bit of everything, you'll see more of me some days than others. We also handle Facebook, Twitter, WildBlue World, and some third party sites. I just enjoy these forums so I tend to poke my head in regularly.
