I canceled My service and sent the equipment back. Why did You still charge Me for it?

SAME HERE- they are thieves!!!!  I returned a personal router instead of the modem-instead of contacting me and having me return the correct thing, they charged my card-on top of the $200 charge for early termination fee for getting out of they horrendously terrible service.  Worst experience ever- please file a complaint with everyone you can -FCC, BBB etc.

Hi All, there is a 30 day window to return your equipment.  If it is received after that fact, your account is charged. When it is noted that it has been received, the charges are removed.  If you are still seeing charges for the equipment,  after it has been received, please send an email to exedelistens@viasat.com with your account information and we will  correct it.

Will I be charged for non-returned leased equipment? If we do not receive your equipment within 30 calendar days, your payment method on file will be charged $150 for the Modem and, if you're discontinuing service, another $150 for the TRIA. Past 30 days, you may still return the equipment and get a refund for the charges.

This is a LIE!! We returned the equipment with the shipping materials provided, there was a problem with the SHIPPING company. We were charged over $300 (pulled from an account that they should no longer have had access to seeing as how we were no longer customers) and contacted them about the problem. We were told that they were sorry for the mistake and would refund our money. We were also told that they had in fact received their equipment. After the 7 business days, we still did not have our money. We called again, were told basically the same thing and that it would be ANOTHER 7-14 BUSINESS DAYS! As if that wasn't bad enough, it still wasn't there. This took place mid March, and as of writing this- June 1st, we still have not received our refund. As a family that lives paycheck to paycheck, this cost us hundreds in overdraft fees. Now hold on, the story gets better. My daughter and her husband had a car issue that cost a decent chunk of money, so they had to miss a payment. Four days later when they got paid, they called in to make a payment. The internet was turned back on and there was no problem. This morning their card was declined and when they contacted the bank to find out why- Exede had taken TWO payments out. When contacted they told us that they were sorry for the mistake and it would be 7-14 business days to get their money back... again! This company has no problem taking money that does not belong to them, and they take no responsibility for their mistakes. Not everyone has the disposable income to be throwing around hundreds of dollars like it's nothing- especially since they heavily market to rural and poorer areas. THIEVES!!!

amberjadex,  If your equipment has been returned, we will process a refund. There must be an issue that has slowed this process. This is not the normal time frame for a refund and I will do all I can to get this processed for you as soon as possible.
