how do you talk to a person

4 months now. Changed the expiration date on my credit card every month because the original installer screwed it up. Special system they have that can't seem to keep it straight? called him...getting the "I'll see what I can do" 4 months in a row. Ready to let it go to collections just for grins and see who calls so I can talk to a human. Hello?

The email goes to those of us that oversee this forum exedelistens@viasat.com. Calling the number 855-463-9333 gets you to our US 24/7 call center agents and on our website there's an option for chat as well.

tel 24/7 number is USELESS... hold for 30+ minutes and never get thru to a person! I hate exede

They can't do everything via email and you shouldn't want them to anyway.  My experience with calling them was satisfactory and my issues have been resolved I'm told, only next months attempt to bill will know for sure.  That said, for a company that clearly wants to have all the customer interaction through a website, it NEEDS TO WORK.  Not sometimes, not with help from forums and others "that have been there" and it should not be a hassle to actually talk to someone when it doesn't.  Wasting my time trying to pay you as a company, leaves a very, very bad taste.  Clearly this business model works when folks have few/limited choices.  Thankfully the market always sorts its self out.

Thanks for the feedback Craig. I firmly believe customer service will be mostly via online interactions as time goes on but as of right now issues with like a payment card for example can't be done via email because giving a someone card information via a email is always a bad idea. my.exede.net should have been able to fix it as we want that to be a one-stop for customers for billing and account management but as of right now if that doesn't work the phone is the best and safest way unfortunately.

Other stuff though however, I'm more than happy to help out with. Tech issues, questions about data, complaints about technicians or agents, Speeds, ect. Send those my way, that's what I'm getting paid to deal with. Appreciate the feedback and suggestions for improvement!

I personally think this is the worst internet service on the planet. I use to call this number and at least get lied to now you wont even take my calls, I will spread the news of how Bad of company you really are far and wide

Bryan, I don't know what number you are using. Calling the number 855-463-9333 gets you to Exede's US 24/7 call center agents.

because I got my exede local now that number you are giving me tells me to call local office but they use to talk to me I hate my service have hated it since I got it have got no help this is worse that any dial up I ever had
