I RARELY  have any speeds more than 2-3 Mbps anytime I am on the internet. I am tired of the slow crawl and want to remove this internet service from my residence. How do I go about doing so?

I don't understand why all the mystery on how to discontinue the Excede internet service. I've seen this and several other similar questions asking how to end the service, only to be answered with the standard "You have to do it over the phone" and then the phone number to call, and nothing else; leaving you hanging with no explanation.

I found an article on the web that explains how to end your service. There is also a video of what to do on YouTube. First you have to call that number that "Exede Brad, Employee" has put in his reply. They will send you 2 boxes to send back the equipment in. You will have 30 days for them to receive the items back. If you are too late they will charge you $150 for each piece of equipment ($300). I am not sure if the 30 days begin when you: A. Make the call, B.The date they actually ship the boxes, or C. The date you receive the boxes in the mail. I believe they will arrive by UPS and you are to ship them back by UPS. To make sure that I get the equipment back on time I am going to go by the date I make the call. I am not sure but I think they will end the service the day you make the call.

I do not know if they shut off the service when you make the initial call or if you can request a specific date for it to be turned off.

Hope this helps, not an Excede Employee, Kat
