Betty, if you are logged in to this forum, you just go to your profile by clicking on the profile to the right of the black bar on top of the page. Once there, Profile, Edit Profile, Email & Notifications, then uncheck all the boxes, then click on Save. That will get rid of all those email notifications.

In addition to the solution offered by Steve, you can also look near the bottom of the received emails and there is a highlighted "unsubscribe" which will accomplish the same goal with one click.

Emory, while what you have pointed out, that will stop only  the email notices in that particular thread. New threads will still generate notifications, so going to the profile and opting out of all notifications gets rid of all notifications.

The message reads "to stop receiving messages from the Excede Internet Community, click here". The wording suggests that unsubscribing by clicking on that particular link will end all communication from the forum. However, I have not taken the time to actually test this method but did offer it in good faith as a viable option.

Emory, it may actually eliminate all notifications, I do not know. I have had the notifications turned off since I joined the forum in August 2013. Either way, it is nice to not get all those nonsensical email notifications. I much rather just look at the forum when I want to.

I would be remiss if I were to post inaccurate information. To clarify: one can click to end notifications on a certain thread or click to unsubscribe entirely, which was the solution I suggested.
